*All roads lead to Bright GAC club grounds this Sunday as our U11’s compete in the East Down ‘C’ League final against near neighbours St John’s. St John’s won the recent league fixture comfortably and another tough game is in the offering but one which the lads will relish. Best of luck to the players and management.
*Disappointment for our U14’s in the championship final last Saturday against Bright. The Fin had won the league final a few weeks earlier against the same opposition but a rampant Bright side were determined to avoid a repeat result. They were the hungrier side on the day and fully deserved their victory. Best wishes to our talented midfielder Niall Dornan who was gutted to miss the final with a fractured foot and we hope to see him back on the pitch soon. It has been a brilliant season nonetheless and the players and management can be proud of their achievements in winning the East Down league and the Shield at the Attical 7’s Tournament. A season that also saw two of the squad, Marc Quinn and Ethan Murray, selected for the Down ETS Football development squad. Maith sibh gach duine !

*Our U12’s were unable to accept an invite to the Activities Day in Croke Park this year with the trip clashing with our club’s U14 championship final commitments.
