The recent AGM saw a revamp of the club’s Executive Committee with several new faces on board. It’s great to have the mothers of several of our underage players in key roles. Our new secretary is Sheena Murray with Jennifer Quinn assistant secretary. Yvonne O’Neill is the new treasurer with Rory Murphy stepping aside to an assisting role. Gerard O’Hare continues in the role of Children’s Officer with Louise Dornan as Designated Person. Sheenagh Flanagan continues for another term as Registrar with Orla Flanagan doing likewise as our Irish Language & Cultural Officer. Gerard Lenaghan continues in the role of Coaching Officer while Oran Flanagan is the new Youth Officer. Long standing committee member and former chair, Paddy Flanagan, has stepped down from the committee and from his role as vice chair with Ben Willoughby his replacement. The additional members of the committee include John Walsh, Martin Flanagan, Mary Flanagan, Ciaran Rice, Faelan Murphy, Jack Matthews and Ruairi Quinn. Some positions remain vacant and will be filled at the first meeting of the new executive committee on Tuesday evening. The club and committee take this opportunity to thank Paddy for all his time and efforts over the past 15 years serving as a committee member in this period. Paddy continues in his role as selector for the Ballylough minor team.
